I lived in Japan for 5 years and travelled widely in Asia, where I developed a deep knowledge and passion for Japanese and Oriental cooking. When I returned to Britain I trained at Leith's School of Food and Wine and subsequently worked as a personal chef before joining Good Food magazine as Cookery Assistant. From there I moved onto Sainsbury's Fresh Ideas magazine, before taking the role of Deputy Food Editor at Prima.

Since going freelance I've worked on a wide variety of projects, ranging from Food Styling for books, magazines and PR campaigns, as well as working as a Home Economist for TV and outside projects.

Clients include Good Food Magazine, Olive, Jamie Magazine, Co-op, Ocado, Waitrose Kitchen, Morrisons, Tesco, Weight Watchers, UKTV Food Website, ASDA, DK and Phaidon.
